Riyadh, June 20, 2021, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf condemned today the Houthi militia's ongoing attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including launching 17 bomb-laden UAVs within 24 hours to target civilians and civilian areas.
The Secretary General confirmed that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by Houthis represents the militia's blatant challenge to the international community and disregard for all international laws and norms as well as its rejection of all efforts aiming to achieve peace in Yemen. He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop these repeated attacks that target vital and civilian institutions.
Dr. Al-Hajraf also commended the Forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen and the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces that successfully confront and thwart all these terrorist acts by the Houthi militias, affirming the GCC’s support and solidarity with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to defend its territories and preserve its security and safety of its citizens and residents.
