Health Ministry Spokesman Reports 1,084 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 1,285 Recoveries in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Aug. 01, 2021, SPA -- Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said, in a press conference, that 1,084 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 526,814 confirmed cases, including 11,191 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 1,403 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, said the statement.
Dr. Al-Abdulaali added that 1,285 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total recoveries to 507,374 cases. Also, twelve new deaths have been reported, bringing the total deaths to 8,249.
The number of COVID-19 vaccine doses that have been administered reached 26,925,604 doses, he said.
