Amman, Rajab 24, 1438, April 21, 2017, SPA -- Jordan, Friday, condemned a terrorist attack that killed a police officer on Paris's most iconic boulevard, the Champs-Elysees, ahead of the first presidential elections round.
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesman Mohammed Al Momani said Jordan strongly condemns this terror act, which once again unveils the ugly face of terrorism and terrorist organizations. Such terrorists, he added, strive to wreak havoc across the world, terrorize people everywhere and pose a threat to global peace and security.
Jordan, the minister said, stands by France in its fight against terrorism, while reiterating calls for consolidated global efforts to annihilate terrorism.
Momani expressed the Jordanian government condolences to the government and people of France and the family of the police officer, and wished the injured a speedy recovery, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
