Riyadh, December 19, 2018, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh, Al-Yaum and Okaz newspapers commented on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's budget announcement, saying that it is the third budget of the Kingdom's economic vision 2030, and the first budget to bear the figure of 1 trillion as a target spending for 2019. The newspapers confirmed that the budget's positive indicators refer to the Kingdom's success in achieving its ambitious vision of a large economic reform plan and development.
The newspapers said that this budget demonstrated the ability of the Kingdom's leadership to deal with economic challenges. They added that the budget included several development initiatives to promote economic growth, and focused on government service sectors that have a direct impact on citizens, especially education, health, military sector, and municipal affairs.
The newspapers said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has confirmed in his speech yesterday during the budget announcement that the Kingdom is determined to move forward on the path of economic reform, financial management, promote transparency, empower the private sector, and ensure that all services offered to citizens are distinctive.
