KSA's Efforts in Promoting Security Hailed by UAE's Federal National Council Speaker

Abu Dhabi, Jan 16, 2019, SPA --   Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates Dr. Amal Abdullah AlQubaisi has praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the region and the world, in enhancing security and achieving sustainable development in various fields.
This came during her meeting here yesterday with members of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by Deputy Chairman of Saudi-Emirati Parliamentary Friendship Committee Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghamdi and his accompanying delegation currently on a visit to the UAE.
"The presence of the Kingdom in the region is a safety valve for the Arab and Islamic worlds," she said, commending the level of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
She stressed that the unity of the positions of the two countries on various regional and global issues enhances international security and stability.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest and ways of consolidating parliamentary relations between the Saudi Shura Council and the UAE's Federal National Council.
