Saudi Press: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exerts an effort to save and Protect Yemeni Children s Future

Riyadh, March 10, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional, and international arenas.

Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Houthi militias recruited children on most fronts to fill the shortage of its elements of war and taking them as human shields. The newspaper said that King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) has been carrying out a very important workshop on the rehabilitation of children who are recruited and affected by the armed conflict. The newspaper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia made an effort to save Yemen from the coup Houthi militias, and protect the Yemeni children‘s future.

Okaz newspaper said in its editorial that the government of Saudi Arabia has taken new steps, in 2019, to empower women in the labor market to promote their participation in development.

Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that Saudi-US relations are deep and solid, and are based on common and lasting interests. The newspaper said that both of the two countries have an international influence on the course of political, economic and security events. The newspaper cited the statement of Ambassador John Abizaid on Saudi-US relations, who stressed that the military cooperation with Saudi Arabia is necessary, and any reduction of relations between America and Saudi Arabia will undermine regional security.
