OIC Secretary General Participates in UN General Assembly in New York

Jeddah, September 21, 2019, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Othaimeen, will head a high-level delegation from the OIC's General Secretariat at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, which will start on Monday.
During the visit, he will hold bilateral talks with a number of leaders and foreign ministers of the OIC Member States.
The General Secretariat will hold a number of events and meetings from 23 to 27 September 2019 to discuss the challenges facing the Islamic world, led by the annual coordination meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States.
The current situation in Palestine, Jerusalem (Al-Quds), Jammu and Kashmir, the Rohingya minority, the Armenian aggression on the territory of Azerbaijan, Yemen, Sierra Leone, Mali and the Sahel, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as issues of peace, dialogue and Muslims in Europe are high on the agenda of the OIC in New York.
