Riyadh, Nov. 12, 2019, SPA -- A 35-member medical and surgical team, led by Advisor - Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, decided to conduct a separation surgery for the Libyan Siamese twins (Ahmed and Mohammed), next Thursday, at King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's senior specialist of this field disclosed following a meeting of members of the team today.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah pointed out that the medical and surgical team, after having thoroughly discussed the case, announced that the success rate of the operation is estimated at 70%, noting that it will last for 15 hours across eleven stages.
