Arab League Affirms its Support for Programs to Combat Terrorist and Criminal Threats in the region

Cairo, Nov. 13, 2019, SPA -- The League of Arab States affirmed its support for whatever contributes to the implementation of all programs aiming at combating criminal, terrorist and other threats and ways of strengthening criminal justice systems in the region.
This came in a speech delivered by Assistant Secretary-General and Head of Legal Affairs at the organization Ambassador Mohamed El-Amin Kik in the opening session of the fourth meeting of the Committee.
For her part Christina Albertin, Regional Representative for the Middle East and North Africa of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), said that the purpose of this meeting is to periodically assess the activities and projects implemented under the regional program for the current year.
