November 21, 2019, SPA -- The United Nations Undersecretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Mark Lowcock said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest supporter and funder of the humanitarian response plan in Yemen, pointing out that the Saudi support provided through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has covered all fields and helped the United Nations and its agencies in providing decent livelihoods to 13 million Yemenis.
In a press statement following his visit to KSrelief yesterday, Lowcock praised the Center's advanced professional performance, its humanitarian missions and wide international spread despite its short life span, noting the remarkable partnership between the Center and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to help those affected around the world.
