Minister of Housing receives South Korea's minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

Riyadh, Dec. 05, 2019, SPA -- Minister of Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail received here today visiting South Korea's Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun Mee in the attendance of South Korea's ambassador to the Kingdom Jo Byoung Wook and the minister's accompanying delegation as well as Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, advisor to the minister and supervisor general of the ministry for Housing Support, Branches and International Cooperation department and a number of the ministry's officials.
The two sides reviewed the urban planning and the smart cities strategy in addition to means of lands and infrastructure development management in the housing sector.
They also discussed ways of using the most modern technology available for the purposes of building and construction, organizing the mechanisms of ownership, cities developing and home building in addition to exchange of knowledge between the two sides in the field of investment in the housing sector and studying the mechanisms of activating joint cooperation between the two countries through signing an executive program of the memorandum of understanding previously signed between the two sides in Seoul in field of housing.
The meeting also discussed modern solutions in the field of housing and rehabilitation including the initiatives launched by the ministry of housing to achieve its vision and strategic goals.
The Minister of Housing confirmed the excellence of the joint relations between the two countries as Minister Kim expressed gratitude of the positive ties biding the two countries, wishing Saudi Arabia increased progress and prosperity, lauding at same time the strategy of the ministry of housing, and citing the numerous programs and initiatives it contains.
