Saudi Islamic Affairs Minister Stresses Importance of Renewing Religious Discourse and Consolidating Concepts of Moderation and Tolerance

Cairo, January 27, 2020, SPA -- Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has made it a priority to renew religious discourse, establish concepts of moderation and tolerance, confront extremist speeches, enhance the culture of dialogue at all levels, and focus on and support youths as the majority of the society.
This came in the Minister's speech during his chairmanship of the Kingdom’s delegation to Al-Azhar International Conference on Renovation of Islamic Thought,
The Minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and their wishes of security, stability, progress and prosperity to the government and people of Egypt.
