Dr. Manzalawe meets with UN Assistant Secretary General for the Office of Rule of Law and Security Institutions

New York , Feb 26, 2020, SPA -- Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Manzalawe, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, has met here with UN Assistant Secretary General for the Office of Rule of Law and Security Institutions Alexandre Zouev.
During the meeting, which took place recently, Zouev reviewed the efforts being exerted by his department to bring about international security and keep peace, lay the foundations of justice and law enforcement, particularly in countries witnessing conflicts and struggles in addition to assisting those who suffered from wars to get their security and judicial authorities rehabilitated.
He lauded the role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields and at all levels, both regional and international, to help the world wipe out terrorism, citing its continual support for international agencies, particularly those working in the field of peace keeping, and combat of terrorism and extremism, and citing the Kingdom as among the biggest donors of peace keeping operations.
For his part, Dr. Manzalawe confirmed the Kingdom's keenness on providing support for the efforts aiming to keep security and peace in the world and combat terrorism, defuse tensions and solve struggles peacefully, thanks to the Kingdom's profile in the region and the world at large.
