Ramallah, Jun 5, 2020, SPA -- Palestinian Premier Mohammed Shtayyeh received here today Norway's Special Envoy to the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland.
During the meeting, latest political developments, especially those related to the Israeli annexation plans, were reviewed, in addition to following up the outputs of a donors' conference, held last week.
The premier, during a press conference said that: We want a doubled world endeavor to be exerted, in order to thwart Israeli annexation plans aiming at undermining the two-state solution formula, demising any possible chance to establish a Palestinian state and to break the accomplished fact through international recognition of a Palestinian state, especially by the European Union (EU) member states.
In a relating development, statement announced by the Arab League (AL) in Cairo today, it emphasized that any attempt by the Israeli occupation power to annex a part of the Palestinian territories as demarked by 1967 borderline, is a null and void measure and completely denounced, as it constitutes a new war crime added to the series of the occupation crimes record, flagrantly violating the UN charter, international law's rules and the world legitimacy and posing threats to security and stability as it runs against the world unanimous option of the two-state solution formula.
