Riyadh, April 17, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Iranian regime is continuing its behavior aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the region, through providing unremitting support to its terrorist arms in Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and Arab countries to carry out more crimes and attacks.
On the other hand, Iranian regime is still insisted on raising uranium enrichment level, which would raise more concerns on its intentions, especially that it is widely known for its support for terrorism, the paper said.
Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with concern the current developments of Iran's nuclear program, as Iran has recently announced raising uranium enrichment rate to 60%, which cannot be considered a program intended for peaceful uses, the paper added.
In this regard, Saudi Arabia called on Iran to avoid escalation and not to expose the security and stability of the region to further tensions and to engage seriously in the current ongoing negotiations in line with the aspirations of the international community towards Iran harnessing its nuclear program for peaceful purposes and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the paper further added.
This call affirmed Saudi Arabia's leading roles in maintaining regional security and stability, as the international community must stand up against such serious development, the paper concluded.
In another context, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported in its editorial that new partnership between the United Nations and the Global Family Business Community has brought back the issue of the future of family businesses, and the prospects for their success and continuity.
These companies are already the backbone of the economy around the world, especially that they have a special old commercial history in Europe and some countries on other continents, the paper added.
These companies has participated in building the traditional commercial concept and contributed to developing the economies of countries, especially two-thirds of the companies on international arena are family-owned or run by families and hire about 60 percent of the workforce and contributes more than 70 percent of global GDP, the paper concluded.
