In response to Tunisian President Request, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Directs KSrelief to Support Tunisia with Vaccines, Medical Equipment

Riyadh, July 12, 2021, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to urgently support the Republic of Tunisia with medical and preventive equipment and supplies to contribute to overcoming the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). This came in response to the request of the Tunisian President Kais Saied, during his call with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah stressed in a statement that the directives come as an affirmation of deep-rooted strong relations that bind the leaderships of the two countries.
He added that the aid includes securing one million doses of the coronavirus vaccine, 190 ventilators, 319 oxygen concentrators, 150 medical beds, 50 vital signs monitoring devices, 4 million medical masks, and 500,000 medical gloves, 180 pulse oximeters, 25 intravenous drug pumps, 9 defibrillators, 15 video laryngoscopes, and 5 electrocardiographs (ECG).
Dr. Al Rabeeah extended his thanks, appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown for this gesture, which confirms the leadership’s keenness to support brothers and friends around the world in various crises and circumstances.
