GCC Secretary General, Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Discuss Gulf Joint Action Issues During a Meeting in Manama

Manama, Oct. 19, 2021, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf and Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman, reviewed, during a meeting here today, several issues of joint GCC action in the commercial and industrial fields.
This came on the sidelines of the meetings of the GCC commercial and industrial cooperation committees, being hosted on October 19 and 20, 2021 by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the rotatory GCC chair country.
The two sides also discussed efforts that GCC countries exert to face economic and commercial challenges resulting from the repercussions of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the recovery stage of the pandemic, and means to enhance cooperation in light of these challenges in a way that benefits GCC countries and peoples and serves their joint interests.
