CEO of National Competitiveness Center Receives Delegation of US Business Owners

Riyadh, Oct. 26, 2021, SPA -- Deputy Minister of Commerce Dr. Eiman Al-Mutairi, who is also CEO of the National Competitiveness Center, received here today a delegation of US business owners from Colorado State, including ten managers of companies specialized in the financial, energy, contracting, management, consulting and business development sectors.
Al-Mutairi reviewed with the delegation, led by President of Colorado Business Roundtable (COBRT) Debbie Brown, in the presence of Saudi entrepreneurs and business owners, ways to enhance cooperation between these companies and the Saudi business sector, especially the areas that contribute to diversifying the sources of national economy and supporting its competitiveness regionally and globally, in line with the plans and objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.
She highlighted the role of the National Competitiveness Center in enhancing the competitiveness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to addressing the reforms and measures implemented to build a flexible and transparent legislative system for the business sector in integration with government entities and the private sector.
At the conclusion of the meeting, which was attended by a number of officials from the Saudi Embassy in Washington, the delegation was briefed on "Public Consultation Platform" and "Private Sector Feedback Platform", which contribute to confronting the challenges facing the private sector, and enhancing its participation by providing the feedback on projects of laws and regulations related to the economic and development affairs prior to its approval.
