Upon Directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Directives, KSrelief Hands over 40 Tons of Liquid Oxygen to Tunisia

Tunis, December 1, 2021, SPA -- In implementation of directives by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) today handed over a new batch of medical assistance to Tunisia, including 40 tons of liquid oxygen, out of 200 tons that are expected to arrive during the few coming days, to contribute providing the needs of the Tunisian medical sector in addressing the implications of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Tunisian Health Minister Ali Mrabet, Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr and other officials received the aid.
In remarks to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Tunisian Health Minister expressed appreciation and gratitude for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s medical assistance offered to the Tunisian people, noting that this stance reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness to help the brotherly and friendly countries. He noted that this assistance comes in a critical time that the world is preparing for a new health crisis as news are circulating on the spread of a new variant of the virus, which adds great importance to this aid that could support the Tunisian needs in facing the pandemic.
For his part, Dr. Al-Saqr said that this assistance embodies the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries and reflects the humanitarian aspect of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
