KSrelief's Masam Project Dismantles over 1,500 Mines in Yemen during One Week

Aden, Dec. 05, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the first week of December 2021, a total of 1,578 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 17 anti-personnel mines, 518 anti-tank mines, 1,027 unexploded ordnance and 16 explosive devices.
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 291,931 mines have been dismantled.
The project seeks to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
