Prince Mohammad bin Fahd International Foundation Insignia for Best Voluntary Work announces winners of its third edition

Cairo, Dec. 05, 2021, SPA -- Twenty Arab and international organizations and individuals won Prince Mohammad bin Fahd International Foundation Insignia for Best Voluntary Work in its third edition, with a total value of $180,000 in five categories: health, environment, water, education, economic empowerment, and the community.
The awards were distributed during a ceremony hosted by the Arab League today, organized by the Arab Voluntary Union and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd International Foundation, in partnership with the Civil Society Organizations Administration at the Arab League, the United Nations Population Fund, the United Nations Volunteers Program, the Arab Planning Institute and the Union for the Mediterranean.
Director of the Civil Society Organizations Administration at the Arab League Dr. Farraj Al-Ajmi, said in his speech during the ceremony that 370 projects were submitted to compete for the award, praising the honoring of voluntary entrepreneurs in the Arab world and putting their experiences and projects in the spotlight to be a role model in the Arab world.
He expressed appreciation of HRH Prince Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz for his initiative to provide services for the Arab community, hoping that the award will become a global and Arab platform to celebrate the pioneers of voluntary work who contribute to spreading the culture of volunteerism.
