Tabuk, Jan 20, 2022, SPA -- The Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) and the Egyptian Armed Forces (EAF) concluded their Tabuk-5 maneuvers that were conducted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's northwestern region.
Tabuk-5 drill concluded its final phase in the presence of the Commander of the Northwest Region Maj. General Hussein bin Saeed Al-Qahtani and a number of senior officers from both sides.
The conclusion of the maneuvers witnessed the application of a number of military scenarios that the forces were trained on during the exercise, as the Saudi-Egyptian special forces carried out parachute landings and free-jumping using gunship helicopters to clear and storm the fortified post, and the armored mechanisms carried out support operations using live ammunition for light and heavy weapons.
It is worth mentioning that the implementation of Tabuk-5 exercise over the past days comes within the plan of joint exercises of the armed forces of both countries with the aim of unifying military concepts and exchanging training experiences.
