Arab League Council Calls on all States to Classify Houthi Militia as Terrorist Organization

Cairo, January 23, 2022, SPA -- The Council of the League of Arab States, at the level of permanent representatives, called on all states to classify the Houthi group as a terrorist organization after its attacks with missiles and drones on the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This came in a resolution issued at the conclusion of the emergency meeting of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent representatives, which was held today at the headquarters of the Arab League, to discuss the terrorist incidents on the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Council called on the United Nations and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities and take a decisive and unified stance against the Houthi attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to deter and confront the ongoing atrocities committed by the Houthi militia against civilians and their deliberate blocking of the delivery of aid and humanitarian supplies and the confiscation of food.
