MWL Secretary General Meets with U.S. Congress Delegation

Riyadh, May 25, 2022, SPA -- Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa met here today with a delegation of members of the United States (U.S.) Congress, which included: Republican Representative from Utah Chris Stewart, Republican Representative from Michigan Lisa McClain, and Republican Representative from Pennsylvania Guy Reschenthale, and a number of officials.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest, while Al-Issa affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents the unifying spirit of the Islamic world.
The U.S. delegation praised the efforts of the MWL in deepening the concept of the human common and the urgent need for the peace in the world, hailing the MWL leading role played in building effective alliances at the level of countries and international organizations in order to consolidate the values of friendship and cooperation among nations and peoples.
