NCM Issues Warning of Torrential Thundershowers Affecting Entire Jeddah

Jeddah, Nov 30, 2022, SPA -- In an update, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a warning for moderate to heavy rains hitting the entire governorate of Jeddah in Makkah region, accompanied by activity in surface winds, hail, torrential rains, and a lack of visibility, affecting the entire governorate, open areas, and highways.
NCM announced that showery condition is expected to continue until tomorrow, Morning.
For its part, the Directorate of Civil Defense in Makkah region called for caution and to avoid approaching floods during the heavy thundershowers in conjunction with the climatic conditions that some regions of the Kingdom are witnessing these days.
It also called on everyone to be careful of potential risks from the water torrents and swamps, to stay away from the places where torrents gather, and not to risk crossing the valleys during the rainfall.
