Cairo, February 01, 2023, SPA -- The Arab Parliament has commended the Arab efforts being exerted to support women's rights and their active role in promoting the development process, drawing attention to the achievements made by Arab women at all political, economic, social and environmental levels, in addition to their role in achieving sustainable development.
In a statement today, on the occasion of Arab Women's Day, which takes place every February 1, the Arab Parliament stated that this occasion is an opportunity to highlight the status of Arab women and the rights and gains they enjoyed, which contributed to their leadership at the Arab and international levels. It also stressed its interest in Arab women's issues, mainly empowering women and improving their conditions, combating violence against them through legislation that provides them with protection and support, and addressing their challenges.
