Riyadh, Feb. 07, 2023, SPA -- The first session of the "DeepFest", organized Tuesday by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), kicked off on the sidelines of "Leap23" conference under the theme "AI Beyond Imagination", to showcase companies' endeavors to improve the nature of life and work, with a focus on the uses of artificial intelligence in clean technology and metaverse, as well as the role of women in technology.
In the opening speech of the "DeepFest" event, the supervisor of SDAIA's National Center for AI Dr. Majid Al-Tuwaijri, stressed the importance of this event in supporting advanced scientific initiatives and projects.
Since the inception of DeepFest, the event has attracted Leap23 visitors of different ages and nationalities, who witnessed various contributions presented by a group of prominent change makers, data scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs, academics and other major technology companies, institutions, startups and innovative business leaders, including the famous roboticist Hiroshi Ishiguro, who presented an inspiring session entitled "Avatar and Society of the Future".
