OIC General Secretariat Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack on Pakistani Embassy, Kabul

Jeddah, December 04, 2022, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the atrocious attack, on Friday 02 December 2022, on the compound of the embassy of Pakistan in Kabul, as the abominable assault targeted the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Kabul Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani, who was uninjured, while a security official of the embassy was reported to be critically injured.
The OIC General Secretariat denounced this heinous act of terrorism as reprehensible and a flagrant violation of the sanctity of the diplomatic premises and personnel.
It called on the de facto Kabul authorities to deploy their utmost efforts not just to bring the perpetrators of this odious act to justice, but also to roll out effective measures for the security and safety of diplomatic missions and officials.
The OIC General Secretariat wished early recovery for the official injured in the attack.
