The Secretary General of the MWL Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki said all matters related to the conference: topics to be discussed, participants, and attendees have all been well set according to instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Al-Turki stated that the conference will not interfere in religious and political issues but will focus on the common factors shared by followers of divine religions and different oriental cultures.
He considered the conference as a comprehensive gathering that accommodates dialogue of civilizations and cultures, focuses on common issues and lays the platform for future dialogue through the themes to be addressed in the meetings, namely the controls and concepts of dialogue; humanitarian common factors; past obstacles of dialogue and ways to overcome them; and the impact of dialogue on human life.
